Kimberly Stilwell Named Rural Vista Teacher of the Year
Honored at Tri-County Chamber Program
February 01, 2008
Kimberly Stilwell, White City Schools kindergarten teacher, was among the honorees for Teacher of the Year at the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce annual awards program. Mrs. Stilwell has been a teacher in the White City Schools for 14 years, teaching both kindergarten and first grade. In nominating Mrs. Stilwell, Adam McDaniel, principal, said, "She instills in her students a love for education. She definitely deserves to be recognized for instilling the love of learning in our young students." Research shows that the early years of a child's education are so very important to success in later years. Mrs. Stilwell says, "One of my goals each year is to provide a safe and loving environment where optimal learning can take place." She meets that goal so magnificently! Thank you, Mrs. Stilwell, for everything that you do for our little ones. We so appreciate you and your dedication to making the first years of school filled with fun, happiness, and the joy of learning!
