Let's Do Some Math with Mr. Henry

We recently had a chance to get to know Brian Henry. Brian Henry is the head coach for the high school football team. He is also the White City HS math teacher, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calc, and Geometry. Mr. Henry was asked a few questions about how the school year is going. He claims it’s a new experience to conduct zoom classes with Hope. Henry also travels to Hope every Wednesday to give an in-person lesson. Henry leaves to go to Hope around lunch time, which is usually 12:12 and arrives in Hope around 1:15. He usually eats his lunch on his way there. We asked Mr. Henry what he looks forward to for this school year. Henry said he’s looking forward to a good start with the football team. We then asked Henry how long he had been teaching. He says he has been teaching for roughly 33 years, most of them spent teaching math in Wabaunsee. Henry’s football team has secured a good start, just as he was hoping. The outcome of the first game against Solomon was a victory, with a score of 44-18.
