We would like to introduce the head custodian of White City School, Ms. Janice Benner. Ms. Janice has been head custodian for four years. She is in charge of maintenance, paperwork, and cleaning. She also has to collaborate with her maintenance colleague, Mr. Kevin. Ms. Janice is from Westmoreland, Kansas. Her home town is about 38 miles from White City. Ms. Janice was formerly a cook here at White City School. Occasionally, she’ll still act as a substitute cook. She also told us that she used to be a para. She really enjoyed that work. Ms. Janice feels she is a vital part of school, and that makes her feel good. She has her own kids in the school, and the job allows her to keep an eye on them.
