The Freshmen had a great time at this year's Greenhand Conference! On September 20th 2023, the Freshman class of White City High School went on a trip to Salina for the purpose of attending the Greenhand Conference. Learning about FFA, SAE, and leadership, they participated in 10 educational stations. The advisor that took the Freshmen to Salina was Ms. Tracy Oelschlaeger. She said that both her and the twelve students she brought along had a great time. Between all the schools, over 500 people signed up to participate in the conference. The Greenhand Conference involves various FFA alumni, working both in and out of the agricultural industry, while identifying the benefits of Agricultural Education. The conference is to help Freshmen explore agricultural education pathways that their school offers. Such education pathways can lead to various FFA careers.
