ThirdGrade

Mrs. Kari Hinkle teaches 3rd grade at White City Schools. Mrs. Hinkle is one of the most veteran teachers at White City!  In fact, this is Mrs. Hinkle’s 34th year teaching.  Wow!  Mrs. Hinkle said that the current year has been going great so far. The challenge for her this year is having 15 students, when she only had 9 last year. Some upcoming events this year that Mrs. Hinkle is looking forward to: “Disguise a Turkey,” “Bread in a Bag,” “Literacy Fair,” and “Leprechaun Traps.” Mrs. Hinkle’s favorite thing about teaching is “watching the lightbulb come on.” She loves it when students start to understand something.  In Mrs. Hinkle’s spare time, she loves to bake cookies and read books. She loves the other teachers. Mrs. Hinkle’s room theme this year is “cactus.” She loves cacti, and that has been her theme for several years in a row. She plans to teach for more than five years, but “less than ten.” Mrs. Hinkle is excited about her upcoming grandbaby due in November. She’s looking forward to snuggling the baby, reading books to the baby, and being a grandma.
