Fun with Fairbanks

Mrs. Fairbanks handles Special Education services for the elementary side of the school. Before this, she was in Special Education for the High School. Overall, she has been teaching for 26 years. Her favorite thing about teaching is being with the kids, because it’s something different everyday. She said this school year has been especially challenging due to the change of schedules. Mrs. Fairbanks’ most anticipated events are Christmas and her grandson’s second birthday. In her spare time, she likes to read, play golf, and spend time with her grandson. Mrs. Fairbanks said one thing that would make her job easier is to have one extra para. If Mrs. Fairbanks had to have another job, she wouldn’t mind being a librarian. She has always thought it would be cool to read books to kids. After this year, Mrs. Fairbanks is planning to retire. She will still sub at White City as needed. Thank you for your years of educational service, Mrs. Fairbanks. White City will miss you.
