White City Schools Hold Quarter 1 Assembly

Students in grades K-12 gathered in the gymnasium on Friday, October 27th to celebrate their accomplishments for the first quarter.

The Rural Vista football team was recognized for their win on Thursday, October 26th against Marmaton Valley as they continue their run toward a state championship.

56 students were recognized for PAWSitive Office Referrals in August, September, and October.

Students in grades K-12 were awarded PACKS certificates for P - Problem Solving, A - Accountability, C - Citizenship, K - Kindness, and S - Sportsmanship.  Recipients were:  Kycen Elliott (K), Harper Herndon (1st), Kannon Gearhart (2nd), Riggin Parker (3rd), Colton Hirt (4th), Brianna Herndon (5th), Evan Tate (6th), Evie Kelly (7th), Lilliana Stilwell (8th), Bryar Harle (9th), Harmony Otte (10th), Sierra Seadeek (11th), and Cody Brown (12th).

After the awards, 8th - 12th grade students sat with elementary classes to enjoy a short film.  This was an opportunity for "Bigs" to model appropriate behavior for "Littles".  Everyone enjoyed popcorn as we viewed this classic Halloween cartoon.
