Learning with Ms. Laudemann

We recently had the opportunity to interview Ms. Laudemann. We asked Ms. Laudemann some questions about her role as a teacher. It was our pleasure to find out about this veteran teacher. Ms. Laudemann is a first grade teacher here at White City School. She also leads cheerleading. She teaches every subject required for a first grader. This will be Ms. Laudemann’s 26th year of teaching. She says… “White City has a lot to offer, because we have small class sizes”. Ms. Laudemann also says that she enjoys the more one on one aspect. Ms. Laudemann says the best part of her job is teaching the kids to read. Ms. Laudemann says that she loves all the hugs she gets and their unique personalities. Ms. Laudemann says that, with her 26 years of teaching experience, she has learned to be more understanding of the students and their needs. She also says that she learned to be more patient. Ms Laudemann says that she loves working at White City Schools, if just for the sake of the kids and coworkers. Ms. Laudemann says, “Of course you can wish for new class furniture and classrooms, but those things would not make teaching here really any better. With the exception of more Mrs. Hinkle cookies!”
