On March 28, 2024, Concordia held the Cloud County Community College Aggie Day, which is an event for agriculturally involved kids to learn and practice the science of agriculture. There were numerous fun and interesting events hosted on Aggie Day, including Agronomy, Vet Science, Meat Evaluation, and Food Science.
White City had participants in all of the various events. For Horse Evaluation, the Greenhand team was able to place 3rd overall, and the Senior team placed 16th, but only consisted of one person, Amelia Friedli. For Food Science, the Senior team placed 8th. For Meat Evaluation, the Senior team also placed 8th. And for Vet Science, the White City team had placed 15th. The White City Greenhand team was able to place high enough to receive a plaque for Horse Judging. Great work, team!
All the events were held in the main building, except Horse Evaluation, held in the Cloud County Arena. After the Judging was over, Ms. Oelschlaeger was kind enough to take the FFA Members to Sonic. It was a nice reward for a hard day’s work. Good job, White City FFA team!
